so does anyone have any opinions on who makes the best mount kit for the CRX b16a swap? I want to get the best mounts I can for my swap... any suggestions.

I would say go with the HASport mounts, I have the Place Racing Mounts and would have to say that Place Racing is inferior to the HASport kit because of where they position the engine in the engine bay. Place Racing's kit positions the engine way too far to the front of the engine bay, while HASport's kit has it further back and further down into the engine bay. The HASport kit positions the engine in the engine bay very close to where Honda of Japan did originally, so the axles are bent very little. For some bizarre reason, Place Racing decided the engine didn't need to be where Honda of Japan thought it did, so they moved the engine up and forward, and consequently the axles have to be bent to get them into place. I think this has caused me some axle problems. Also, one of my mounts is going bad on me already. This is just my personal experience though, only thing I can think of is that you might be able to shoehorn a SC in there with less of a hassle than HASport mounts, but even then theres not much room in the bay with the B16.

 

I have HCP those seem to work well.
