I am looking to get rid of my EJ (93 Coupe). I wanna get an EK. I really prefer to have black interior. Which EK had or came with black interior. I prefer it be a HB. TIA

Oh damn. That means I will have to change it. What about the Si? Does that have black interior mainly for the dash.

 

i think all USDM civics from 96-00 had either gray, tan, or dark gray interior. check http://www.edmunds.com

Damn, cause I really wanted to put the CTR manual door panels on but didn't want to hassle with doing a dash also. Was there any EK that black interior?

 

and i don't think the CTR has black interior. i thought it was dark grey

dude, just put the arm rests on your stock panels. that is the only difference anyway.

 

Ya could do that. Does anyone know what or how dark the red EK interior is? Cause the EK that I am looking at is red.

the 96-98 EK hatchbacks (EK4) came with BLACK interior. the 96-98 civic type r (EK4) came with BLACK interior.

the 99-00 EK hatchbacks (EK9) came with DARK GRAY interior. the 99-00 civic type r (EK9) cam eiwth DARK GRAY interior.

Cool. I knew some EK had the gray interior. My friend had a 96 Coupe his interior was grey. But I was hoping the interior on the 96-98 HB EK was black. Thanks for the helpl.

 

you can get black interior on a roma red 96 AND 97 EK... but thats it for the red ones.

 

Sweet. Cause I think it is Roma Red. I am not too sure of the year though. I know it is either 96-97

 

No 96-00 usdm EK's came with black interior

Thanks a million. I found out the HB that I am looking at has grey interior. So it looks as if I will be tearing the wrecking yards apart looking for black interior

 

i gotta red ek hatch with grey interior.
if u dont mind me asking how much did you pay for your hatch? Just wondering because im selling mine. its a red 96 5spd. no mods. all stock. excellent conditon inside and out. I would post in the classified but i can't. Im a noob.

 

My 1996 DX in Granada Black Pearl has grey interior.

 

I am going to be paying $4000-$4500. Not too sure yet though. Its a friend that is selling it. I haven't seen pictures yet. But I am looking to get it.

Just for everyones reference...

Black interior did NOT come in any hatchback in the united states between 96 and 00.

It might have been offered in other models outside of the US but as far as the states are concerned you will NOT find a black interior.

On a side note...
CTR door panels are black w/ red arm insert.

Those are just seats. You're telling me you got black dash and panels also?

 

Those panels look to be the same grey color that came in my black2kcivic.
So you swaped some black leathers or had your redone in leather?

For the civic dx or cx black was not offered as an interior color and I don't think that it was offered in a coupe.
