Who needs a pickup truck when you have an R...
Went to Home Depot to pick up some lumber for a project this weekend. Good thing I thought to remove the passenger seat before I left.
BTW, those longer boards are 8 feet. I don't think you could do anything longer than that and still close the hatch.
-Floyd, who felt like an idiot when he still tried to put his hand on the back of the passenger seat to back his car out of the parking space...

what happened to your pass side mirror? is does it just look shattered?
I'm happy to see you didn't load up your roof with 20,000 sheets of plywood like the last photo I saw of someone's car trying to double as a F-150 at the Depot. That poor Jetta had no idea what was in store for it when it left the house that morning. Anyone like to post up that gem just for old times sake? It's always worth a look, makes just about anyone feel smart.
yea, hell yea, i put my rear bumper and sideskirts in there once... and also my full catback exhuast! but no more, rear tower bar in the way

ive had more than 8 feet long wood, more like 16feet long ply wood hanging out the back of mine. that wasnt safe. lol. drove home like 5 mph and got a lotta of funny looks from other people on the way home.
every try filling a Type R with tiles? lol. that got a lot of onlookers at the home depot. how bout a Toro Lawn mower, it fits perfectly in the back and you can still close the hatch. my type R was a truck.
