CAI, intakes cold air..works
Shortram, intakes warm engine air, works great as a noise maker.

 

Get the CAI if you want more power.

 

i had the aem cold air intake but switched it back to a short ram. I disliked the 3 inch pipe versus the shorter ram.

 

why did you dislike the 3 inch dia piping? if im not mistaken AEMs CAI is 2.75in.

 

2.75 inches? kool i thought it was 3. But thats one of the reasons why i disliked the aem cai. Thats why i switched it to a injen short ram. It may be shorter and a bit bigger but personally i feel as though its doing a better job.

 

Type R=3 inches
GSR=2.75
LS=2.5
I'm pretty sure about these.
