1990 Civic Si rear tranny mount
Hi, I'm try to take out the rear tranny mount. I got the front and side bolts off already the mount, but there is one more bolt that is hidden under the rubber, can some give me some advices on taking the last bolt off? Is there a tirck or special tool to take this bolt off? Thanks.
i know the bolt is a pain in the azz to get to, especially when your putting a new mount on , use a wrench or a long extension. keep fuqing w it and you;ll get it out.
lol, been there, done that
I found that the easiest way to do it is use a long extension and run it down the firewall. than use a universal(things that go at the end of the extension and can flex) and the socket at the end of that, then have some fun. It'll go onto the bolt, its a bit easier if u have someone else with u to help u guide the socket down the firewall and onto the bolt, but I did it alone.
putting the new mount on is the fun part though, that took me a bit of time

Get a 17mm? box wrench, and stick ot through the front, and use the concave in the box side to catch the bolt, get it? You cah hammer the mount to the side, catch the bolt, and loosen, and turn back to the other side to loosen. Its works like a charm if you can understand my lingo!!! Ryan
