size piping for dump tube??
i wanna make my own but i just need to know what size,type of material is used for a dump tube for a tial wastegate. Thinking of doing that side exit outta the bumper thing but might just do it str8 down...does it have to be stainless??

The pipe size is 1.5". That's the right flange if you have the 35mm tial wastegate, though www.sr20performance.com has it on sale for $10
. It doesn't have to be stainless, you could paint it with high temp paint if you use aluminized steel or just leave it unpainted. You could probably just use a u or j bend from jcwhitney.

Hey, this was a JC Whitney 180 degree 1 1/2" piece with a 35mm flange welded to it......I painted it with 1500 degree paint from Jegs.
And here it is on the car with a piece of flex pipe clamped to it and then running out to the driver side bumper.........you can see it under the filter heading to the side.
And what the hell, here's the final touch
