Default Jimfab vs. Z10 eng traction bars

I was wondering which one out of these two traction bars for the 95 Integra is better?

I notiuce the Jimfab one hooks up to the lower control arm kinda different than the Z10 one.

Is the Jimfab unit streetable like the Z10?

FFGeoff designed the first Z-10's and he says JimFabs are much better. how's that for a recommendation? We love out JimFabs

Do the Jimfabs clear IC piping? are there any fitment issues?

They hit my lower charge pipe, but nothing a little cutting of the pipe didnt take care of. The Z-10 have the same problem.

What do you guys think of the HCP Engineering bars? They look similar to the Z10's but of course, everyones designs are different right. Just wondering if anyone has the HCP ones and what they think of them.

Now that I have the Z10's I hear this. Don't you hate it when you buy something and 2 months later you find out that someone came out with a much better product?

I'm sure what you have will work fine but the welds and quality on Jim's bars are fabulous. Plus they are cheaper.

Go ahead-rub salt in the wound. The Z10's do work fine though.

I dont think either one is good for a real street car..dont they make a bunch of noise like creeks and squeeks? I also read on a few Z10 searches i did on HT that people were getting clunking noises when they started or stopped...also,anyone can correct me if im wrong, the Z10 radius arms are aluminum and the Jimfabs are chromoly,on that alone id go with the jimfabs if i was building a pure drag car.

ps...i just looked at the jimfab site..they dont recommend them for the street.

The Z10's work fine on my daily driven street car. You feel every bump, but other that, no problem. Oh yeah, I had to cut off the excess material in the front because my car is lowered and it would scrape going in and out of my driveway.

I'm thinking about ordering one. Anyone got any pics of it on a boosted car? Will it fit on my car, boosted greddy kit on Si with type 24 FMIC.

Thats exactly what it is. If something happens they dont want to be held reponsible. I run it on the street if it makes you feel better.

Anyone hear anything about traction bars killing diff's?I heard from someone they cause stress on diff's and cause them to break.I used some shitty competition eng. on my friends 92 hatchback. It made a killer difference. We raced some guy in a supercharged civic Si that night....and off the line we jumped him good. The loss of wheel hop was great and the car felt like it lunged forward during every hard shift instead of just sitting there for a second. But that kit is heavy. The fit was ok.But it makes alot of noise.

I'm using Z10's and they worked great for me... I dont have any "clunky" sounds or anything. Only complaint is the tires rub on the inside during very sharp turns, but it doesnt effect turning radius much.

Hey, what is jim Fab's website??? I am really interested in the Z10 and before I buy the jim fab's I want to see what's the difference... And about the diff I've been told that's the thing that will save diffs... All it does is pre-load your front suspension so you can get rid of wheel hop... If anything Wheel hop will kill your diff. (blew mine right to pieces!!! ) Anyway, please post the website.

Thanks,

Sean C.

Well, thanks.. Tried searching but didn't try the simple well I have a question... Do these have any adjustment as the Z10's do or do they even need it??? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have the Z10's and they work great for me. Ive had them for around 10k miles they completly elimated wheel hop. Art has the jimfab and they look just as good. I would pick a set of radius arms by price, quality, wieght, and color. u gotta get the cool colors. only downside ive heard about radius arms is that they can cause wear on the bushings but i havnt had any yet. I think ultimatly everyone should go with whatever is cool on honda-tech at the time.

oh and they do make some noises under hard braking. I like to go about 70mph, slam the brakes and drop it in 2nd. car stops on a dime with a lil tire squel but the radius arms make some noise when they hold the suspension from moving backwards under extreme conditions. nothing to fret over.
