no, it's none of them... look at the v1.5 control box and compare it to the v1.0, you see the extra plug, wel, that is the plug that this cable plugs in to

Sorry for not explaining before, was in a hurry...those inputs are for the wbo2 logging not necessarily for a standalone. If you look on the techedge site there's a dos app...there's also a palm-based logger at http://wbo2.offline.org. These inputs simply allow you to log RPM and two other inputs (ie. MAP and TPS) against your AFR...it really isn't needed with the EMS as you've already got the capability through the AEM software. Hope that helps...

--Ian

EDIT: To clarify...there are 4 cables for the v1.5 unit and the 5301 display...one for the wbo2 sensor, one for these inputs like shown in the picture ablove, one db9 that goes from the display to the wbo2 unit (contains ground, reference voltage, and Vwb), and a db9 to plug into a pc/palm/whatever (contains ground and rs232 data stream). All this info can be found either on the yahoogroups mailing list or on the http://www.techedge.com.au website. In order to feed the AEM ecu the Vwb signal you'll need to either open the wideband unit and tap the appropriate lead or hack the cable going from the wideband to the display...you can't use the feed from the second db9 as it's not Vwb, it's a rs232 feed.

The long 8-pin plug goes to the WB Unit and the shorter one goes to your laptop to feed it the data for the logger. The white thing that you posted the picture of is like somebody posted here that's where you would put your wires to feed the data to the WB Unit so it can datalog it for you. Hope this helps.

Later,

Sean C.
