Make sure you tighten the rotor screw well....
What made them look for that, car not running?

One of the electrical pins was bent and there were lots of plastic pieces everywhere.
I stuck on a old ITR rotor (more plastic) and a old cap....
"it has never ran better"

Who knows how long it was like that.

I was going to change mine tomorrow. This might sound dumb, but how do you get the rotor, so as the screw is facing upward to remove it? I don't want to take the cap off and not be able to get to the screw because it is facing down. Is there anything I SHOULDN'T do? Thanks.
hahahha happened to my roomate, he was calling me scared shitless he blew his motor, told him to check for spark then fuel, didn't take him long to see that his screw backed out and the rotor flew off. I was laughing my *** off, so was he once he realized it wasn't serious.
let me tell you from first hand experience how lucky you are. The rotor screw in my R did the same thing, but it bouced around the inside of the cap, cut through the dust shield and got punched right into the middle of the ignitor. end result, 200$ for a new rotor. PIIIIIsssssed off about that one.. that was a mod i could have done.
Same thing happened to my ITR a few months after delivery and unmolested by me. I was a Gingerman and thought I had a rod knock, turned out to be arcing inside that cap from the screw bouncing around.......................................Which brings us to Dec 24th (last week) I decided to change the plugs, cap and rotor. Rotor screw was stuck in place, had to take the distributor off, drill out the screw, retap the hole. So much for the qwik tune up.
