Quick Question about canadian R in US

iF you are the original owner of the car and your coming from canada, yes u will retain warranty, you need a letter from honda though. If you sell the car in america the buyer wil have no warranty.

this guy at Acura Dealer gave me number to call about getting the warranty, but he knew it was from Canada...how strange... i just wanted to ask before i make that call.

If you buy a honda in Canada and import it to the US, the warrenty will not be valid in the US and vice versa. I bought my R at CDN Acura dealership and they gave me a form w/ the warrenty that is still left on the car. They knew the car was going to be exported. In other words, if something major were to happen, I should be able to bring it back to the CDN dealership for warranty work
