late 80's Accord, what size are the bolt patterns?
wow. i am sure if you can get the bolt size out there. you can find somethign that will work
if not your looking at pep boys. or maybe a powdercoating job

Yep....4x100 bolt pattern, +40mm (+/- 2mm) offset. Any wheel within those specs will work, and obviously it's got to fit in the fender as well, lol. I'm very indecisive when it comes to wheels though, so I can't really give you any recommendations offhand.
Good choice on the car, btw
Is it an LX-i?

yeah anything that fits a civc/teg will fit it. Some used OEM wheels would look nice and be cheap.
$400 for a 3rd gen accord with 60k on it
That my friend, is the deal of the century
Every single 3rd gen I see around here has at least $1500 written on the window, and they all have 100k or more on them, most have more rust than I'd like too.

Here is the deal, I'm picking up the Accord in a week or two and needs nothing but a cleaning and tires, SO my thought would be to get some rotas and snow tires for the winter.
This car only has low 60k miles on it, I know the owner never had an accident and is also the first owner so This car really was taken care of.
So I would like to be able to find 15x6 or 6.5 wheels for it so I could slap on some snow tires and enjoy for the winter while the R stays off the salty roads...
What would You people recommend for the car?
