I have EBC pads and rotors on the front, EBC pads and stock rotors on the rear. I absolutely love them, forget how much I paid though. I went through http://www.tirerack.com

Havn't heard a single good thing about EBC pads... FWIW...

Ultimate pads my friend, Andie Lin at http://www.cobaltfriction.com Best prices, great street pad w/ tons of bite.. Keep your stock rotors/calipers.. SS lines are nice, with a good fluid flush..

Metal masters pads (PBR) are not bad either... They take about 3-4 stops to start to grip but once they're heated properly they stop great. No fade/glaze up to date...

i will agree with you on that desmat. they do take a bit to warm up. the bite is good and there's no fade. i got them because i went a lil over budget on my suspension upgrades, but they turned out to be pretty good pads. good for street and for autox.

What sort of bad things have you heard about them? I dont autocross or anything, but I do drag race. The only time I really get on my brakes hard would be in an emergency manuver. One time some dumbass pulled out in front of me, my car stopped like no other. I thought the seatbelt was gonna break thats how hard I was thrown into it. I have never noticed any fade either

try to use EBC on the track, and they totally fade out... worst so called race compounds ever...

Metal Masters.. yea, I caught them on fire at my first ever track event at summit point.. I wasn't even that fast... Ultimates, 10x better for the price..

fire from your brakes is an understatement, I will make sure to get pics next time from Summit in the chute so these guys can see what you do to Prelude brakes
