Engine is painted due to lack of time. Tranny is more or less polished. I never actually polished it, i just scuffed it up really good and cleared it. Good enough for me. It has to be driven everyday, so i can't really stress about that.

How do you guys clean your blocks to get them shiny? I know in this case it was painted (looks very good I might add....maybe something I might look into for the future - what kinda paint did you use?), but what do people usually do to clean off their motors. I tried degreaser on my old B16, it worked a bit, but i like that bling bling stunna look

Get your block media-blasted and then use metal polish...clear coat it for long lasting bling .

Better bling on the engine than bling on the body.

Nice.

That's my garage, i sorta "took it over" for this project. I actually considered building the motor in my room so that it would be perfectly clean, but then i remembered that after i built the motor, it was gonna be really heavy, so in the garage is as good as it gets i suppose.

did you just scruff the tranny with a wire wheel on a drill?
