Damn I never thought about that..... I bet that would look bad ***... I've shot blocks red (fake JG **** even tho I hate JG), gunmetal, cast, and silver.... Did you polish the tranny or shoot it as well??? Also what compression are you running... Titanium gets a from me if they even make that color.... hehe

I don't know if it's been done yet. But it will be played out as soon as someone does.

Yea my friend awhile back was building his CRVTEC.... He went a little bit crazy and sprayed a fade into that actually didn't look that bad... From the bottom of the block it went from black-cast-that aluminum color... Then he wanted to spray his head too but my friend told him not too... He just went a little overboard... I don't think he ever sprayed the head and I'll take some pics of the motor if i see it sometime.... Latez

Um, the machine shop cleaned the block, i guess they hot-tanked it or something. I dunno.

The transmission was done with an angle grinder and like 10 medium grit discs from Napa. then i just cleaned it with brakeleen, and cleared it. It's not polished, but it's shiny. I like it better this way.

Swirls look cool.

Oh, my oil pan is polished up the same way, and my valve cover is bling polished. the head i left alone, i'm to afraid to **** that up, but i scuffed the top of the intake manifold too. It looks good.

More pics as i finish it up more.

looks good... if i had more money i would have sleeved the motor.... but hey money is a bitch.... at least for me tickets = , MIP = , tuition = hahah

modified: but with 12.5cr and .050 overbore you should still easily be in the low 13's on street tires with a good head... so good luck take pics before you slap the head on that **** is clean a F***
