What is a "hoodrat" ? Is it some king of underhood rodent that runs on a little wheel to generate more HP? I hear Jerry's car is pretty fast; maybe I should get me one of those "hoodrats ?...

with as fast as jerrys car runs how did his helmet pass tech??? ****, i go 2 hrs away and they put me through the ringer because my helmet was ancient (70s era). maybe some tracks need to look up the rules and regs and enforce them.
side note: i currently do own a helmet that meets all standards.

11.8's full street trim with all interior in the car...nothing removed and he weighs in at 200 lbs
11.9;s at palmdale in race trim (fiberglass doors,no rear interior or passanger seat, rear lexan window ....as in picture)
FOR poeple who dont know palmdale times are usually .4 slower then other tracks such as pomona.
HE should hit 11.5 at pomona in race trim.
He ran street trim at the last event in pomona because of people on this board saying that his car is not a street car if he runs fiberglass on the track...so he proved a point that he runs 11's in full street trim (absolutely nothing removed other then mounting slicks)
MId 11's shouldn't be a problem with the car prepped for the track, but its hard to hit that time on the first pass, as he gets kicked out after the first pass for not having a roll bar.
Jerry is one of the coolest guys in the sport...not only does he build great motors at import builders, but he also helps a lot of people out of his garage on the weekends, so watch out for cars with "JERRY BUILT" stickers on the side.
I still dont know how he got his fat *** head into jeff's helmet.
