Pix & Videos of myPhilips 4300K HID's (Warning Large Pics)
First of all, I wanna thank Trevor from http://www.visualdynamics.ca for the
excellent service, quick delivery on my kit.
I made my payment yesterday morning and got my Philips 4300K overnighted and
arrived in the morning
Installing the Kit:
If you have changed your bulbs before, it is a breeze.
I changed the 2 low beam fuses from 10A to 20A as recommended by Trevor.
Plugged everything in, secured the ballasts down by the velcro, doubled checked
everything and was ready to turn it on.
Impressions:
Wow what a big difference. I originally had a set of Sylvania Cool Blues converted
to 9005. There was a big improvement over the stock bulbs and I was impressed with that.
However after installing the HID kit, I realized how much more light output and
bright the bulbs were. My Cool Blues which once looked pretty white, are not
yellow when I compare them to my HID's. FYI I have the cool blues as my High
Nothing compares to HID, it is night and day. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emsmile.gif" BORDER="0">

wow... that looks awesome.
I'm thinking of getting the exact same. Do you have any more pics.. from far away? Does the light appear pure white, or have some blue in it?
Also.. kind of off-topic, but are those stock corner bulbs?
Congrad's.. looks really nice.

I don't have any of far range pics, but I'll take some tomorrow night and post them here.
It depends on what angle you look at, when the bulb warms up, it looks blue then turns clear white. Maybe a hint of blue when fully warmed up. But I personally think the 4300k is the best for light output and looks.
Stock corners & bulbs. Stock amber corners ownz.

No offense, but those pics do absolutley nothing to show the light output. Wow, a headlight, it's bright, no ****.
Try taking a pic from inside the car at the beam projection, I dont care how bright it is as long as you can see things better IN FRONT OF YOU.
BTW congrats on the deal and setup.

I know, people were more interested in the color. But I'll snap pics of it on the road.
I just got the kit yesterday.

what codec did you use to make that video? I have the latest 5.0.2 DivX codec, but when I try to play the video, I only hear the sound in Windows Media Player.
You will need DirectX 8 to play it. Without DX 8, it just plays with the sound.
Use Windows Media Player. I tried it with 5.02 DivX and it does not work.
