All my h22 hybrids, how are your cars running??
*Sigh* I just remember after a while seeing a flux of people doing the swap after I did, but now its kinda dead in here, so I was just wondering how your cars were doing and what have you done since your swap..

Just finish my swap this weekend, the only problem is that my p13 ecu is bad, the car startup fine with my stock civic ecu but idles at 1500 but when I was using a 94 ls ecu it idle at 750 but with the p13 it would fire up and just shut down, so I'm in the market for a p72. Drove the car around the neighborhood with the ls ecu with only the top part of the header, and it was loud as ***. Also I don't have reverse gear

I was thinking of doing an H22 swap into a '94 Integra, but I was wondering about the wiring harness, mounts, and axles.
What axles do I need, whether they are stock or aftermarket?
What wiring alterations are needed besides adding VTEC and knock-sensor wires?
What would be the best brand mounting kit to use for an Integra? HCP or Place Racing?
Is there anything else I should be concerned about when doing this swap?
The swap is going to be simple, just an H22 swapped in with bolt-ons for now.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

running good. I need to get a plate or something because sometimes i smell burning like it's rubber (i think it's heat from the exhaust going on the shifter bracket).......
i get EGR code every once in a while, that's because it's not hooked up. other than that, still tryin to get back on my feet from the swap.

car is ugly as hell right now, but makin progress
getting 5 lug conversion 11" disc soon, paint job and such, can't wait.

Im not sure about mounts for your car, but check into Hasport, HCP or Place. Another company that makes decent mounts are Totem. For wiring, things should be pretty straight forward. As long as you get a obd-1 h22, you will be able to use your existing harness and everything should be plug and play, minus your usuall vtec wiring.

Stage III axles gotten at similar prices as h22ek.
And do a search on h22/integra, there is information available..
Yeah everything is running fine now for me. The only two things are that the cooling fan comes on all the time and the p13 chip that I got wasnt soddered right so I wont know until tomorrow whether or not that is working.. And oh yeah. For some reason this car is drinking gas like a ******.. I am getting like 120 to the tank now.???
MSD is currently not hooked up.

maybe because you said 255gph fuel pump
when it's lph y0
that is some serious bad mileage lol. damn v8 wannabe

I dont know. I was getting pretty much back gas mileage when the stock CX pump was in there also. I am going to check and/or replace the plugs this weekend and see if they are fouled.. Maybe hook back up the MSD if I can find a spot to put it..

I just finished my swap tonight. I still need to get a slim fan and a radiator as the stock one leaks now. I also need to figure out an exhaust setup. Running open header right now. Its loud as hell, especially with the hole for the shifter being right above the end of the flexpipe.
94 jdm h22(no lsd)
hcp eg-22 mount kit
aem type r cai intake
hondata intake manifold gasket
skunk2 cam gears(not tuned)
action 1md clutch
90-93 accord halfshaft/90-91 teg axles
stock exhaust manifold w/ flexpipe
stock radiator/fan
stock jdm p13 ecu
no check engine light
perfect idle and revs fine
I notched the fan to clear the bleeder and modified the bracket to pull stock radiator forward more. Everything seemed cool until I went to close the hood. With the radiator sitting so far forward, the hood won't close. I guess I have to go get a slim fan now. Anyone running a stock radiator and fan with their h22 swap?
I still have to buy some sheet metal and make a box or something to seal up the bottom of the shifter.
I also have to take the car to the muffler shop to get a custom exhaust put on.
I still have alot to do I guess. I'm just glad the car runs.

That is cool laughing. If its any consolation I didnt do anything to the whole other than bolt on the shifter.. Maybe that is why its a little louder inside the car than usual who knows..
And Cm those are some good times for a your whp output.. What is your setup?

the motor is completely stock with 24.5x8x13M/T'sin front and 15x4 skinnies in back totally gutted, lexan windows 1 piece front end and a custom rear spring set up in back. plans this month call for alot of head work.
Oh okay that makes more sense.. You planning on going FI or NA?? And what are you plans for the buildup if you dont mind sharing that is..??
it's gotta stay n/a. I'm looking at 14.5:1c/r 9000rpm with cams from R&D dyno the head work is gonna be from portflow. But for now i can only afford the headwork & valve springs.

Good Stuff. I finally got the motor to run some what okay. The thing was drinking gas like water on the street. Like 90-100 miles on the tank but on the highway I was gettin like 260+. It was also smoking like a champ. Found out the TPS and the MAP were bad so they were replaced and everything is good no more super rich running. Three things I still need to fix 1) when cold it surges from like 700-1500 but when warm it purs like a cat 2) No Speedometer = NO VTEC no code but I think the VSS is bad 3) Using a P28 w/ H22A maps. Desperatly need a P13 or P72. Other than that I like the H22. I liked the high revving of my B20 Vtec before I blew it but the H22A is better for shows and just to show off.
Hey good stuff. My car is currently doing the same thing gas wise.. Dunno what the problem is though.. And did you get any CELs before you changed out the TPS and Map sensors?? How did you know they were bad? How much are you getting to the tank now??
As for your VSS check the wiring. When I mine wasnt working my mechanic suggested that he checked it and it needed to be replaced, but after further inspection, while he was putting in the new one, we saw that the wires for the harness had come loose on the plug.. Fit them back in nice and tight and now everything is working fine.. And you think you feel the pull now wait till everything is working properly..
As for surge I would clean out the AICV and install it back on and see if that solves your problem..

Ok heres my mods.. 97 civic dx coupe. (manual steering rack)
94 jdm H22a w\o lsd
clutch master flywheel
ACT xtss clutch
AEM cai for itr
RSR header
DC stainless catback
removed egr valve(custom cover plate)
oil catch can
skunk 2 cam gears
chipped p13 (no egr)
Data systems vtec controller
Walbro 255lph fuel pump(get about 250 to a tank)
Place Racing mounts and shift box
Auto ex raditor(dual core)
slim fan
90-93 teg axles
90-93 accord intermdiate shaft
AEM big brakes
and thats about it with the swap. Car runs great, pulls very hard, vtec is so strong set at 5k.The only problem ive had is a surging idle. I adjusted the fast air idle control and it fixed it for like 3 weeks and now its back. Oh well. By january im gonna have a skunk2 manifold, ericks racing Tb and a new fuel rail so im not real worried about it. I was getting like 290 miles to the tank until i put the fuel pump in. Now the most i have gotten is like 268. (but its hard not to get on it half the time)I also have a bad o2 and that gas mileage is with that, so a new o2 should bring that up alot. All in all i love my swap. I havent taken it to the track but as compared to stuff ive raced it should run like a 14.0 at least. I plan on a all motor build up very soon. Im shooting to run lows 13's in street trim and 12's with slicks.

Nice setup, but what have you done suspension wise??
Hopefully in two years I will be enjoying low boost but for now I am just trying to get everything to run right without any problems.. Just about got all things worked out so next year its time for bodywork and new paintjob.

All i have for suspension right now is ground control coilovers, skunk2 rear tie bar, and the factory si front strut bar. It amazingly rides very well to be on stock shocks. Rides just as smooth as it did before. Not harsh at all. Very soon(like 3 weeks) im gonna get me some nice adjustable shocks(not sure what kind) and a big rear sway bar. Id also like to do a front sway bar but dont know if ill go thru the trouble. I actually like the way it drives right now...
