just wondering what everybody was using for there nos set ups? like what fuel preasure there running and if there is any header out there that is better with nos? thanks in advance, what pistons are better for nos too?

I am running the 05030FI(direct port) kit jetted at a 75 shot. I don't get much in terms of traction so I'm adding a 50 shot stage via a single fogger kit that I can use out of the hole. Also I ordered some high pressure nylon tubing to replace the steel solenoid extension tubes that came with the existing kit. I need to move my distribution blocks away from my intake manifold b/c it is just too cluttered and some stress is being put on my IAT plug. I'm running stock fuel pressure, but am in need of a VAFC and some dyno time. I don't have an aftermarket header yet b/c SMSP hasn't released their's yet. Regardless I dyno'd 217 whp/202 trq with a shitty 10.5 AF ratio.

I have a 100 shot direct port ZEX setup. I have only hit it about 6 times though. I want to get a Digital-6 before I hit it anymore.
The last time I hit it, I was barely rolling in 1st gear. As soon as I hit the nitrous, I hit the 9600 rev limiter and shattered the atl. belt. I mean it all happened in the blink of an eye. I am still counting my blessings and I promise to never do that again.

yeah well iam tryin to understand more and more about nos systems and whats good and bad to do with them would like to get my motor to run good on a 100 shot. so is there anybody that would mind answering some questions or a site that would help me out?

Is Hondata a good idea with Nitrous? witch hondata do u use> boost opion? whats the best kit out there i was thinking nos just becuase they have been out there for awhile and i dont like the idea of computers running my set up. and what about the vacume lines that blow out? u replace those with stainless? whats trevors set up? iam planning on buying the probe pistons from import builders when i sell these ctrs

i have ls vtec with forged pistons. thinking like 100 shot with a hondata system but not sure trying to figure out the nitrous set ups that work

Was this kit custom made??? I run the zex dry kit, not the most pretty or effective kit on the market but it gets the job done .

Two Saturdays ago. Everybody was waiting for my bottle heater to heat up, and they see it in action. They will see it soon enough. There wasent much to see though. Just a quick blast of white tire smoke, then a loud pop when I hit the rev limiter and the alt belt exploded.
Guess what I found out/saw yesterday...my calculus teacher drives a GSR Sedan too.
I just pieced it together. It took a little more money and time than I had anticipated.
The setup:
ZEX bottle > ZEX brain (w/ NX #28 fuel jet) > Extended 3AN (I think) Steel braided nitrous feed line > NOS distribution block > #3 hard brake line > four NOS single fogger nozzles (each w/ NOS #24 nitrous jet)

BTW ZEX did show a direct port conversion kit a SEMA in Las Vegas.

That's no problem at all. You can run direct port or if you have a GSR mani, you can go with the plate kit. Unless you're running slicks, putting a 100 shot to the ground is going to be hell. If you are on street tires look into running a two stage kit or getting a progressive controller. A forewarning: Progressive controllers eat up noid seals. You'll need to get stronger seals from NOS or NX and also a back up noid in case your primary noid dies. Personally, I like two stage kits so if you need the wiring for it just IM me.

welll i was going to use the n2o at the track so yeah iam giong to have slicks on it but two stage sounds intresting how would that work exactly and a progressive controller who makes those?

2 stage: Basically, you run a single fogger kit and a direct port kit. Use the single fogger as the first stage and the DP as the second stage. When you arm the second stage and are at WOT, the first stage shuts off and the second stage begins.
Progressive controllers: Jacob's nitrous mastermind, Crane, NOS, NX

My old setup, 88 honda crx hf full interior minus back plastic. 99 gsr motor je 10.8 pistons stock rods, head full ferrera valve train ctr cams. skunk 2 intake manifold rs header aem intake. Fuel system, current walbro 255 stock fuel rail stock injectors holley fpr fuel pressure was around 45 psi so car would not break up running rich.Mangement b16 pr3 ecu stock distributor stock plug wires, ngk b167e11 plugs.I was running NOS pro fogger set up 80 shot. On 24 inch slicks with a quaife I would run consistent 11.5's and occationaly faster dipping to a best of 11.3.I would launch the car off idle car would rip. Jason

were u planning on going turbo is that the reason for the low cp pistons or was it turbo at the time that u ran the 11.3s ????

i'm sure jason will respond, but i will say that he ran 11.3's on motor and nitrous only, no turbo. and i wouldn't say 10.8 pistons were "low compression".

well its not low but like the pistons iam using are 12:1 so thats why i said "low". is that to high to run a good nitrous set up?

mo the car was all bottle in 2001 I was getting all my turbo stuff that summer for winter.I dynoed the car over the summer for fun the best it made was hp242@ the wheels , and 2002 the wheels in torque. Jason
