FS: Built SOHC VTEC in NY
Hey there. I put this up on E-bay, but it didn't meet the reserve, so I figured I'd try here on H-T:
This is a D16Z6 out of a 93 Civic SI. It is 125 hp. stock. This engine was rebuilt at 50,000 miles. It has approx. 20,000 miles on it since that rebuild. Water pump, timing belt, thermostat, head gasket, etc. were replaced. The head was ported and polished. It has a JG Engine Dynamics camshaft, a JG cam gear, a JG 65mm throttle body, Vitek plug wires w/NGK plugs, a DC Sports 4-2-1 header, ACT Stage III clutch, a Cold Air Intake, and I also have the original factory airbox w/a K&N filter in it. The ECU was reprogrammed, and it revs to 7800 RPM's now, w/VTEC at 4400. This engine is worked. It has every possible bolt on that you can do, w/the exception of block internals or a turbo. All work on this engine was done by APG Motorsports in Albany, NY. In my car, a 92 DX hatchback, this engine ran a 15.12. I'm in Upstate NY, so w/a better altitude, you could be running high 14's. This engine will bolt right into any 92-95 Honda Civic. Please feel free to e-mail me for more info. I'm asking $1,500. Let me know if you think this is to high. Thanks guys!
PM me for pics to.

hey, just curious where this shop is? i'm at college in troy right now and i dont know many shops around here. just lookin for a place nearby to get parts or at least compare prices for some new stuff. thanks alot
It's just down Central Ave, past Colonie center. You'll go under a little bridge and after that it's right on the left. They're a god place for parts, but I wouldn't recomend them to do actual work on our car. Btw, you guys in Alb. wanna go to the H-T meet in Cuse? Let me know, maybe we can cruise out thre together. Oh yeah, any takers on the engine to?
