What size steering wheel are you using for Road Race or Autocross?
I am considering the 11.8" wheel, aka 300mm. What size do you recommend. This is for a 95 Integra GSR that has power steering. This is a daily driver, Autox, and HPDE. Thanks.
Im using a 350mm which i personally prefer over a 320mm which i used to use. Its personal preference. I felt more "busy" behind a 320mm wheel compared to a more "relaxed" feeling manouvering a 350mm wheel. The larger wheel has more leverage+ ur right hand is positioned closer to the shift lever=shorter distance.

i'd stay away from the smaller diameter. you will loose the precision with it.
i had some time with a small 300mm momo and i hated it, even compared to my non-anatomical stock wheel.
350mm gets my vote.

Steering wheels are a very personal thing. I went through about 4 before I found one that I was happy with. I found that I like a small diameter wheel (300mm) with a fat grip and a flat bottom to give me more leg room. I never have to move my hands on the wheel even in tight corners like hairpin at Grattan.
Others that have driven my car can't stand it... OTOH, I couldn't stand the wheels they were using (large diameter skinny wheel... felt like driving a truck).

I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

350mm works for me. i have driven with a 330mm sparco, and it was just too small for me.

What class do U run in for Auto-X?? If your car has air bags stock (I think the 95 gsr does) then U CAN NOT change the steering wheel in stock or STS classes. Just an FYI...
I'm using the stock steering wheel 'cuz it's not allowed to change steering wheels with airbags in STS/STX.

Thank you very much for the feedback. There is nothing better than personal experience. Maybe thats why I like H-T so much. I know that you are not allowed to change the wheels on ones with airbags.
I dont know what to think about that. I think in DSP you can change it. Is this true?

I using a 350 Momo on my CRX which has no power stearing, Its sligtly smaller then stock by about 3/4in but feels real good. It made more of a difference then I thought it would make.
Using a Mugen 350, like it a lot. Can't stand those smaller wheels.
(and yes I mean 350, it's not the FG360 or whatever it is)

Nice wheel. A little small from what most people are posting. I definately am going with a 340 size wheel. Post up where you got the sparco from
yes, you can swap wheels in DSP....i'd be in hell if I went with a smaller wheel....the steering already sucks in my car as it is....thank god I don't have to deal with the steering on 99-00 Si's!
when I make the jump to DSP myself I'll be looking for something in the 350mm range...mainly all I want is something with more dish, that'll bring the wheel out to me

Do u have any more pics?

I use a Momo Race wheel, 320mm.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I have no problems with it. It's also nicer to have a smaller wheel...easier to get in and out of the race seat.
Also, steering is quicker/crisper/more responsive...of course, this is over the stock oem steering wheel.

For the diameter of a wheel, a larger diameter will be a slower turning wheel...e.g. you have to crank more on the wheel to get it to turn X amount of degrees.
Being that I won't have power steering, I'm not sure what size I want to go with, but I'm definately not going any larger than 350mm. 300mm to 330mm sizes seem fine to me. I can't stand the Hugeness (is that a word? lol) of stock vehicle wheels..anything over 13" diameter should be considered too big! Give me Kart steering wheels!

U gotta remember, like i posted in my first reply is the change in leverage by going to a smaller diameter. Couple that with no power steering would be harder on u.

but it's not really noticable at high speeds. i think the quicker response makes up for being a weakling.
Yes, the diameter is effectively the torque arm, so the larger the diameter the less force you have to exert. I'm not too worried about lack of power steering though since the integra should be sub 2,000 and will have a manual steering rack. I'll probably go with a 330mm wheel.
UPDATE:
I recieved the wheel and installed it. I definately did not want to go smaller than 340mm. 340 is what I ordered. Feels nice. I will have to see if I am going to like it while racing as well. I think I will.
