What's the Lowdown on the CTR N1 Crank Pulley?????
I have searched this subject but wasn't enough info or peoples opinions on this pulley.
I plan on taking off both P/S and A/C and was looking for a good crank pulley.
let me know your experiences or thoughts on this

I've got one sittin' in the garage. Still need a pulley holder to install it though. $75 new.

So you guys recommend Unorthodox???good luck setting the timing.....
yea
due to the sheer high velocity of the lightweight single pulley at 15k rpm it will fly off the motor, sheeer off the crankshaft, bounce around the and leave a big whole at the bottom of the block.
i'll save this link and tell you "i told you so" when it happens

Well yeah that's true about the timing. So can the N1 crank pulley harm your engine???
He bought it to see how bad it will hurt his engine but to date, no problems. I know he will be tearing his motor apart this upcoming Christmas break to see if there's any signs of uneven wear. He's doing this cause he ought to go with a higher compression than he currently runs.
As of matter of fact, I bought one from Leo that I'm going to run on my next setup soon, I hope

If you use for daily driving and occasionally race drag or road, then the unorthodox aluminum will be fine just check clearance as UR tends to vary bore sizes so they dont fit as tight as the stocker or CTR N1 whne fitting around the crank.
I personally recommend the N1 pulley even with the added weight when compared to the UR one. If you wanna get those, see Leo Kwok he's got the best deals by far ...
