FS: IHI RHF5 VF22 ball-bearing turbo
I have an IHI RHF5 VF22 turbo for sale. Bought it brand new, used it for 3 months. Turbo is still in brand-new condition, no shaft-play at all, internal wastegate included along with original box and packaging. Internal wastegate has never been used as I had an external wastegate on my Honda.
This turbo is also a great <u>bolt-on</u> upgrade for you WRX owners..

Do a search on the web for VF22 - you're bound to find something - this turbo is a popular upgrade for the WRX - sells brand new for over $1000.
It works brilliantly on SOHC engines.. even better on DOHC engines..
I had it running on my D16Y8 for a while, and it pulled real hard. With my engine setup, I had 1 Ôbar of boost at 3000rpm, and it pulled hard all the way to redline.
Bought the integra 3 months after using it, and had to sell the Civic (which I haven't done yet)
so I decided to drop in a B20B with B16A head, normally aspirated for reliability and better fuel consumption.
It works brilliantly on SOHC engines.. even better on DOHC engines..

BTW if anyone needs references, there have been people here who have bought stuff from me before - i'm an honest guy and i've been f*cked over and cheated by people on the net before, I know the feeling..

Hey is it still for sale? I've got the Apexi' kit for the SOHC and now I'm running it on a B18b but I think your turbo is larger. I'm not sure though. Let me know.

just curious what did you replace this turbo with ?
I got the B20B for free, so I thought I may as well upgrade from SOHC to DOHC
