I miss my ITR :( [large pix]
ahh....memories:
Midway through its life:
Its last track event at Summit Point *sniff sniff*
How clean it was shortly before I sold it....and prolly how clean it was when someone decided to take it from the dealer lot without paying for it:
My shrine:
This car was so good to me
*goes off to mourn yet again*

Why are so many 350Z owners dissatified? Are they just not as racey as the R?
Just curious.

I own a RWD and FWD.
On the wet track at Limerock two weeks ago, FWD ruled (especially the ITR.)
But when it dried, RWD was the best.... but only slightly.
I like RWD because their seems to be more options.
In FWD you can only control oversteer with weight transfer, but with RWD you can control oversteer with weight transfer and loss or gain of traction from power.
Granted, FWD is very fast on a racetrack (RTR guys beat the BMW's all the time), but there is just a "feel" to RWD that cannot be explained.

You have my sympathies....but like with GF's, you'll get over it eventually!!
I'm NEVER (well not for a long time) selling my ITR....once I get another road car (an M3), I'm gonna put my ITR 'out to pasture' on the race track - where I'll be free tp do all manner of engine/suspension/brake mods, strip the interior, add a role-cage and basically have even more fun than I do now.

Hey Matt....
That ITR looks alot like mine!
Hearing about all these people missing their R's, is making it hard for me to rationalize selling mine.....
Cheese~
