Put the car on jack stands. Fill tires with air. Change oil. Full tank of gas. Remove battery.

for that short of a time frame, do what B2 said. make sure you have a FULL tank of gas though. you dont really need to put the car on stands but it would be nice.

Leave the rad fluid...change it when you take it out.

Car cover would be nice too. Wash and wax

Will there be mice around? If so, then it's not safe no matter what you do...cause they can eat the wires in the engine bay.

A nice air freshner is good enough for the interior.

NEVER drain the fluid! allways put new fluids in and make sure they are the right amount.

Full tank of gas is important so you don't get any water in there. Changing the oil before you store is good for the initial start up.

-Do not drain the fluids.
-Steel wool in the exhaust tip will keep rodents out.
-Also to keep mice away, either moth ***** around & under the car or, I have also heard that
Bounce fabric softener sheets keep them away as well (and smells better too).
-I've heard mixed reviews about putting the car on jackstands. I just put an extra ~5 lbs of air
in the tires.
-Also, disconnect the battery terminals
-Full tank of gas, and add Stabil

Also you might want to add a bottle of gas stabilizer to you very very full tank of gas. I say very very cause if there is air in inside your gas tank condinsasion will form and cause rust- or chance of.

the condinsasion will occur in most of your engine, When your ready to start the bitch after storage I would myself take off the Valve cover and wipe it dry of the possible moisture/water.

As for your brakes, do not put the Pbarke on for that lentgh of time use chocks of some sort or better yet jack up the car and let the wheels hang, but not at full stroke, slide a thick peice of wood under each tire to lift up each wheel a hair. Also make sure your tires are properly inflated and not beyond the max amount.

No need to let it run so often. Once a month is plenty

Ideally the suspension should be compressed.

WOW!!!! That sucks. At least you did try and put it inside though, i was dissapointed there for a sec. Surely you can work somthing out with them. I guess you could drop insurance till april, kinda risky, but you won't be driven it anyways.

Get a spot in the local storage places, Can't be worse then leaving it outside for that long.

Around here they have garage size storage, for car, bike, quads anything and the amount of money they charge is peice of mind ( car inside, dry, away from negitive people).

Man that's a predicament, dropping insurance come to think of it is a realy bad idea, I would take bbasso's advice and put it in storage. But whatever you do don't leave your baby out in the snow!

the jackasses who will be scoping the R are much worse then snow.

Infact the snow might hide it.
