Before he made the one you are thinking of, he made one he called the Version 1...it was like last May I think....I could be completly wrong though.

 

yes, this is the version 1 that Geoff first made.

BTW, it's for sale...$500 shipped...ask geoff and he will tell you this is a deal compared to any SFP or other similar styles

 

Welds are all the same on the inside though...function over form is the way of HT!!

Do you have measurement from the turbo flange bolt hole closest to the block, to the block or a close approximation. Can I keep the turbo compressor housing facing the driver's side?

 

Thats the first manifold i ever made, gotta start somewhere! The welds are actually pretty good

the turbo orientation is identical to the race manifold. driver side compressor, pass side turbine.

ya, that was made awhile back...when i used to work at maxrev.

 

Not bad for $ 500

 

I can get it tommorow, but when I had my 60-1 bolted up(compressor facing driver's side), I had no clearance issues at all...I had enough room in there to stuff 2 live rabbits between teh turbo and block j/k(sorry animal rights people)

oh yeah, this thing is brand new BTW

its made from 8 gauge forged stainless steel, just like the other full-race manifolds.

 

Where do you get the elbows & stuff from? Just wondering I am doing another non honda turbo project & can't just buy a manifold. Yours looks pretty good to me. Do they flow alot better than the "log" type manifolds?

 

I'm very sure they flow better than log manifolds...as for teh material, ask Geoff
