Did you have trouble knowing when to shift before the blinky light?

Nah i didnt have any trouble shifting, however at the track it does help to have a shift light. I didnt want to buy a huge tach and to have that shift light attached to it. So it's homemade. It's a littel bulb in a bic pen.

you should have made it a challenge to find it instead of asking if we can find it then putting it in the middle of the picture

Thanks. It's an older "Pivot" shift light. Wiring couldn't be simpler, plugs into the cigarette lighter, there's a control box (about the size of zippo lighter) to adjust what RPM to activate the light. That's it The light housing is about the size of 3 pennies stacked up, and the light is tiny, but it's super bright, strobe light effect, works very well.

I've seen a few on jdmspecperf.com, they're a little bigger than mine, but still small overall, they start around 100 bucks.
