Does any know what size of fuel injectors are used in a 93 Prelude vtec?
I was told the stock vtec uses 345cc / min. Just wanted to verify it here because I'm now using some 370 cc, with a-afc tuned to -16 for narrow throttle and -17 under wide throttle, I still see a cloud of dark smoke shooting out from the muffler.
several guys on the board have posted the flow ratings on the obd1 h22a injectors that RC engineering provided and they have flowed from 340 up to 345cc's. the proof is in the pudding, do a search. A lot of guys post different flow rates, however im going by what RC engineering tested. i trust them over word of mouth.

if you dont trust me, you can trust them
p.s.
dont argue about the ratings they have for the 97 ups, i was always led to believe they were 290cc's....

Thanks for your info. I am at a weird situation.
I am now using a H22A1 block off a 93 prelude vtec, and the cylinder head and intake manifold off a 97 Preldue type SH. ECU is from a JDM Prelude with a Spoon chip in it, I believe it's not OBDII. Now when I ordered the injectors from RC they sent me the 370cc but I don't remember if they are saturated or peak and hold........which one should I use anyway? Does anyone know? What I noticed is that I have the v-afc tune to -17 and it is still running rich, and I don't have a chance to get my car dyno yet, and I'm hoping it won't wear out the cylinder wall with the current setup.......

Dude a 5th gen head has 290cc injectors there's your problem that is a whack setup. An h22A1 ecu would be running slightly lean on the 290s but now you have 370...what is your fuel pressure?

Yo I called RC Engineerings and spoke to the technician there. I was told that my setup is fine as to I'm NOT using a OBDII ECU and the resister box has not been removed, that means I'm okay with peak and hold injectors. I just need to get my car dynoed very soon, think I'm running around 314cc at v-afc set to -15 pretty much all rpm ranges under narrow throttle, hope it's not too lean......
blackludeh22, my car runs rich also. Didn't you see the cloud of black smoke coming out my tailpipe as I pulled away from you? LOL.

Yeah I noticed that, hey 2point6 could you give me a call sometime today?
I needed the direction to your friend's exhaust shop, like what you told me I think I should get my exhaust fixed before I go get dynoed.
