stock(nachi) vs. exedy supplied(nsk) throwout bearing pics
smitdog received his exedy clutch today and i thought i'd post some comparison pics between his exedy supplied throwout bearing(nsk) and the stock nachi(which he will be using over the nsk).
nsk is on the left and nachi is on the right.
could this be the source of problems associated with exedy clutches?

Clutch will go in today around 5, so I will post later tonight and see how it goes. Many people I know jave ahd to adjust the push rod ont he floor right away when installed or when totaly pushing the pedal in there is a grinding noise. And just other poblems in general too.
The stock throw our bearing was $37 dollars at my employee price at the Hond Delaership I wrok at. I will get the part number and post it lata along with how things went with the install and first drive home with the Exedy!

What kind of problems are u talking about? I am also using a exedy organic clutch and having some problems with notchyness(sp) when shifting. Would the throwout bearing have anything to do with the problem I am expirencing?

What problems with the exedy clutches are you guys referring to? I have absolutely no trouble from mine with the exedy throwout bearing. You can have a little more travel than needed but this is easily adjusted using the helpes section 12.3 (I think). Is there bearing failure I have not heard of or just the minor problme with the PP fingers hitting?
Tried adding tranny fluid or changing if needed? What fluid are you using?

I've got the Action Stage 1KS Clutch kit, and I love it, I believe I used the throwout bearing supplied with it vs the old stock one, not sure though, enjoy
the bearing i got with my exedy clutch is exactly the same as the stock one.......i got mine clutch kit from clutchcityonline.com
the bearing i have looks exactly like the one pictured on the right...........i dont know who or why they sent you the one on the left for......it looks like the wrong one for a integra tranny.......

Well clutch is in. It took 1hr 50mins to install and car back on the ground and running.
First start the car and all is fine but then push the clutch pedal to the floor and in makes that slight grinding sound. Not as bad as others I have heard. Adjusted the push rod under the dash like it says, and the the grinding went away. Thing i really dislike is that u must shorten the rod therefore making the clutch pedal have alot less play in it which i did not want!
Drive home and the clutch feels likes stock grabing wise. I am goign to wait till about 400miles to see how it really grabs.
Then pull i the garage and leave it running and put the windows down and puch the clutch pedal all the way in and then again a very slight grinding noise. Tightened the push rod bolt tightly, so that could have not moved on the way home, so I am wondering why it is grinding again? Like i said bearly but still any of that is a no no!

Took us 4.5-5 hours to do a clutch install on an Si and that was working steadily.
You guys got a ninja trick?
