What mods should I have already done already before a VAFC becomes beneficial?

I have an intake installed, and an exhaust ordered. If I were to install it with those mods what kind of gains would I see? Should I wait until I get my header or even cams before getting it? Thanks for the help.

 

a lot of people wait till cam gears to use it, but our cars run rich to start...so if you use good gas you can get some power by leaning it out some, but make sure you have a wideband o2 sensor/dyno when doing this...the great thing about a v-afc is the more mods you get, you can re-adjust it for more power...


btw- i have a brand new one, still in the box i bought last week, but decided to go hondata
