Default H22 speed cutoff

This question is for people with jdm h22's in their integras or civics.... Is it true that the speed cutoff on a jdm h22 ecu is about 115mph? I am getting a complete h22 swap and i cant afford to chip a jdm ecu right now...till later on...i just have enough money to get the motor running right... should i get the us ecu instead??

most of the JDM p13 ecu will cut off around there. I happen to have a Feel's speed cut remover for sale if your interested, 40 bux.....works perfect on my h22a swap

yes all jdm ecu have a speed limiter. its like 118. sucks bad first time you hit it. also notice that all the jdm guage clusters only read up to 180km which is 120 mph.

Yeah.... but the Spoon program will remedy that problem in a JDM P13 (which is what I ran). It's funny to watch my JDM speedo go flying up to 180 km (120 mph) and then well past that, coming back around to zero (around 140+ mph - clocked at 153 mph one time on the CHP radar trailor --- don't try this at home kids)
