Are "better" plug wires a good buy?
OEM is fine. If it goes bad, get NGK. YOU WILL NOT GAIN HORSEPOWER BY CHANGING YOUR PLUG WIRES.

The reason most people see benefits from putting new plug wires on is because the ones on the car were worn.
Just get the OEM NGK's.
Just get the OEM NGK's.
I don't know why so many people think o.E wires are NGK.
*Maybe* some are, but all the ones I've seen are black Sumitomo wires and not NGK.
Either way, O.E wires are just fine.

First of all, NGK spark plugs wires are NO different than 99% of the others. Simply put, they are a POS. Magnecor KV85 competition cables are the best spark plug wires made, and you can get them for slightly more than the NGK pretenders. Check this out if you want the truth about spark plug wires:

Secondly, OEM WIRES ARE NOT NGK's. OEM wires are made by Sumitomo. Here's a pic of the OEM wires:
I'll bet you boneheads have never even heard of Sumitomo, yet you keep telling everyone to go out and buy them - you say they are the best wires made - and all that other sort of rubbish.
Give it up bishes...
thats also asuming the POS magnecors wont fall apart on you, but thats also asuming u got them to stay on the plugs in the first place....their qualit sux, the boot always pops off the plugs
From my experience, Magnacore sucks. I had them on my 92 SE-R and they tend to pop off of the spark plug and few a few times off of the distributer. and I know I am not the only one that that has happened to.
NGK or OEM =
wow thats the reason why i ngk and OEM. even if you put them on wrong, they still work great
I read that before and yes it even came down to the point where i would zip tie the boots. I don't need to do that with NGK

I got some ngks from a friend for $15 so i used them and havn't had any problems yet.

First of all, they used a 7-inch long plastic holder that goes inside the spark plug hole. There is a spring-loaded clip inside the holder that 'clamps' itself to the top of the spark plug. Then, there is the lower rubber boot that basically welds itself to the ceramic spark plug body, no matter how much silicone grease you use.
Then, on the valve cover, there is a lip that holds the top of the spark plug holder in place. From my experience, it basically welds itself in place too.
Do these fuc*ing liars think you are so stupid as to believe that 100-dollar Magnecors competition spark plug cables are going to simply pop off the plug, unglue itself from the spark plug body, pop out the valve cover, and come flying out of the 7-inch deep hole? Please! It's a physical impossibility and you know it!
Give it up, bishes...
If they are flying out of the holes you:
1.Don't have a spark plug in the head.
2.The spark plug is loose allowing blow by.
3. You are lieing
4.You're and idiot
You choose.

i was gonna say the same thing.
if the spark plug is installed its IMPOSSIBLE for that to happen.

You know, these motherfuc*ing, lieing, coc*suc*er are really bugging me; so much so, that I went out and pulled my plug wires tonight. Look at the design Honda uses:
