92-up Civic Fluidyne -- I DID IT!!
What a weekend. I finally installed my radiator that I have been waiting for.
I installed a Jim Fab cross-member that was modified to accept the Fluidyne.
The Jim Fab piece fits perfectly. The radiator is another story that goes something like this:
I had to use a hammer alot.
I had to use a dremel alot.
The dremel was for the webbing in the hood. I had to cut a space for the cap. The hood is still hard to close, but it does!!
I used the hammer to bang the passenger frame around the headlight to clear the radiator.
I use a pusher fan so I had to bend up the front cross piece where the hood latch is.
It barely clears my turbo. Actually it touches it right on the edge. No big deal.
I have pics, but no host. If someone wants to host them I will send them on.
This install was very messy, I love it though!

why did you use an eg?
Thanks to Break_1_9 for hosting some of my pics.
The top one is the hole I had to cut to make the radiator cap fit, so I could close the hood.
The last one you can see the hammer job I did on the left.
Cost me around $700 for everything. I had the Jim Fab modified by a very helpful guy in Cali.

Its kinda nasty in real life.
It took the past weekend to do it.
The only snags was the turbo was stuck so it wouldn't clock. And the hole in the hood I had to cut.

I just put in my neon radiator about 1 week ago, found a slimline fan off a hyundai, leaves me enough room to fit a small family of possums.

why didn't you just use a neon rad.???

The Jim Fab cost me about $450. It fit very nice too. I hope he comes out with adjustable radius rods soon...
Doodoo, how did you decide on your name?
Thanks all. I know I could have done it better(prettier) but I don't much care about looks anymore. Just speed and efficiency(sp).
I am assuming you have the HASport mount kit? Why not use an HCP mount kit which would sit your engine closer to the firewall? This would help put the turbo further away from that radiator. Hmmmm... maybe flip the turbo to the other side and get an inner cooler?
HAha - if we were just all rich...

I don't think there's a Neon radiator!!!! I've been looking around in the junk yard, auto supply and the dealer!!! The dealear is trying to sell me a long one. I'm starting to feel like the Neon rad is a fake!!! Not unless someone gives us a complete part number of the radiator itself for ordering. Maybe we can just shorten the height of the delsol radiator instead! anyone?
