Just got my Neuspeed-Konis today. *PICS*
I picked them up today. Tom at Lightning Motorsports hooked me up real good. Great guy to deal with, very helpful. I PayPalled him the money and within an hour he set it up so that I could just go down to Neuspeed(7 miles from where i work) and just pick them up. Didn't even have to wait 5 days for shipping. Heres a couple pictures for you guys...

Notice the 5 different perches. I picked up a nice 3 ton jack at Sears today also, $50 for 21 inch lift
Looks like I'v got all the hardware. Oh and LOL at Koni's poor attempt at instructions
And I'v already set the rear shocks to the lowest postion to even out my ride. Oh and these will be paired up with H&R Sports.
But I do have a question. On the front shocks does the spring seat go down or up? Is the way I have pictures correct or does it go the other way?
Thanks, I'll be installing these bad boys tomorrow.

j/w but whats the difference between the neuspeeds and the regular adjustables?
#1-There are 5 perches on each shock, instead of 2 on front and 3 in rear with regular konis.
#2-20mm shorter rod(neuspeed said it give the spring more travel?)
#3-more aggressive valving
yea the shorter the rod allows for more travel so that its harder for the shock to bottom out. you dont want your shocks to bottom out heh

hahah I have Koni's also so I know what you mean about the documentation.. but it's decent enough I guess.
on your spring perch question.. you have them on correctly in the pic... for the front the perches face down.. for the rear the perches face up...
good luck w/ your install.. heres a few links in case you need them

THe piston diameter is also larger. Unless they changed this feature back to the OEM size diameter, then you'll have to bore out your dust cover to use it. Highly recommended that you do.
Don't forget to put the silver ring between the little yellow c-clip and the spring perch on the rear shocks. Like on the front ones, you have the c-clip, the silver ring, and then the spring perch. Don't forget the ring on the back one, it helps distribute the weight of the car around those c-clips.
Also, when you install them, could you take pics of a stock shock compared to one of the Neuspeed Konis, I'd like to see how they compare.
look into getting stiffer springs if you want to auto x or do track events
they are great for daily driving, but IMHO not enough for the track...
I have yellows and oe's right now with itr rear sway bar, i am gona either get the eibach pro kits, or ground control

I dunno. I talked to one guy who didn't have to bore out his dust covers on his "Koni" Koni Yellows.
I'm still waiting for something conclusive.

Also you will definitely have to make the hole in the dust cover larger. The stock shocks taper at the top of the rod (special washer sits on the taper, dust cover sits on washer), while the Koni rod does not. This makes the Koni rod about 2mm larger than the hole in the dust cover. It's not a big deal to make the hole a bit bigger, just use a drill or a Dremel. It doesn't have to be exact. That little piece welded onto the Koni rod is what one of the washers sit on, then the dust cover on that washer, then another washer above it. If you need to know the exact order in which all the hardware is assembled, send me a PM, or find me on AIM, my name is Drivin165.

Thanks everyone, Konis are installed. About those silver rings. I only got 2 for the fronts. The rears didnt come with any. And I set the rear perches to the lowest, and now I have a 0 finger gap. I didn't take any pix during the install, but later I'll take pix of the stock shocks and then you can just compare them to the pix of the konis that I took. A couple of things I should let future Neuspeed Koni users know is that, since the pistons are 20mm shorter, a spring compressor will really help you. I didn't have one today so I had to do it the ghetto way, by installing the shock/spring onto the car without the washer and 2 lock nuts on the piston. And then using the stock jack to jack up the hub so that enough treading would come up through the collar for me to put on the wash(bowl thingy) and the 2 lock nuts. And with the rears I did not have any trouble since they were on the lowest setting. Another problem that I encountered was on one of the rear Konis the tack welded nut broke off. You know how the rears have a fork at the bottom, with one side having a tack welded nut on it, that came right off. I'm not sure if they're suppose to do that but it looked like it was just held on by yellow paint. It shouldn't be a problem since its basically a nut, only square. I don't see how it could be a problem since on the fronts its a nut bolt combination. Other than that I'm very happey with them. I set them to full soft and drove around, and they feel just like stock, if not better. This install also fixed my stupid rattleing problem that I had coming from the rear suspension. Well I also sprayed the top 3 spring coils with white lithium greece so that there would be no tapping when they compress and hit eachother. Hmm I hope I covered everything. I'd also like to thank Tom at Lightning Motorsports for hookin me up, Neuspeed, Koni, PB Blaster(where would I be without you) and my cousin(Spooner). Always good to have someone to jump on the lower LCA's. I'll have pix later. I'm tired and I need to clean up the mess in my trunk.
If you look at this pic you can see that the silver perch has a little groove in it for the c-clip, so I guess a silver ring would not be needed as it would defeat the purpose of the groove.
Just went out driving, I set it to full stiff and it was actually kind of nice. Not something I would have set for daily driving but its a really nice feel. Right now its 1 full turn from full soft and that seems to feel real good. Also forgot to mention that while I was installing these I noticed how much of a ***** our GS-R sway bars are. It was very sad looking at the poor excuse of a sway bar. ITR sway will be going in very soon
Oh and I paid $550 for these, they come with free shipping but I work 7 miles from Neuspeed Distribution/Headquarters that I just had a will-call set up.
Talk to Tom @ Lightning Motorsports he's very nice and helpful.

I just added the 22mm ITR swaybar last week, what a huge difference it makes. One of the best mods I've done to date.

Well I was wanting a pic of the Koni directly next to the stocker so I could compare the height difference, but oh well. My shocks came with silver rings for all 4 shocks, so I'm thinking they may have left them out on your rear ones. I had to get Koni North America to send me a set of front lock nuts because the ones that came with my front ones were the wrong size. You might want to look into it.
