This is the biggest question i have...... we always talk about it, but no-one really knows the advantage of a Lightweight flywheel........ what does it do??? other then rev faster........ does your Q/M time get a little better and if yes by how much with stock engine?? does it put more horsepower to the wheels??? does it give you more torque?? what does it do????????............... sorry for posting this, i know theirs more posts about this, but we always talk about yea its better, but what are the reasons??!!!

Please use post titles that indicate the premise of your question. The search function on this board only searches post titles. So even if someone does repond to your question with an intelligent answer, the information will be inaccessible via search for the next person looking for the same info.

they allow your engine to rev faster. You DO NOT have to add more gas at the launch, i launch my car with an ACT xtss and CM flywheel at 900 rpm. quicker turbo spool up is a result of the engine revving faster. I found no drawbacks with my flywheel. people say the rpms drop faster in between shifts but that would only matter if you took like 2 seconds to shift. do a search next time.

the shifts will drop faster since there is less knetic energy keeping the engine moving. You'll also loose some low end torque, but the ability to revv quicker and get more HP to the wheels will outweigh if you like to revv high alot.
