Ok guys...
I am going to lay down some cash on a C.F. hood...
Witch is the best quality you have seen or already have...
I have seen a DG motorsports, VIS, and a fiber Images...
What hoods are great quality but do not need hood pins...
I am willing to pay more for the quality...

wow that really helped him out.....i have heard vis are really great hoods a couple frinds of mne have them and they are very strong and dont yellow. hope that helps. you get what you pay for remeber that

 

get the spoon Yo.its only like $1100..jk man..i personally like fiberimages and owned a Vis which was good also..good luck

I like the fiber images hood but I have an Aerogear hood and the quality is great compared to all the hoods I have seen, and it also fits great. I picked it up for $475

fiber images without a doubt, but if you have the money you can try..... **** i cant remember the name of the company starts with a "B"....hmmm o well their really expensive though.

 

i don't know if that is a joke but he's talking bout bennen. Bennen hoods are nice but there are a lot of bennen haters. Vis is nice but heavy, Fiber images is the luck of the draw.

 

VIS and Fiberimages.. Check out under "Best Buy" I think theres a couple of group buys on VIS hoods.

 

There are benen haters because there are almost none out there.

My fiber images hood blows. Fits like ****. The weave is clean but there are too many imperfections on the hood.....I should have sent it back............ Try a jdmhondaparts brand hood

wow, these opinions are all over the place. I would say go to a show and look and compare that way. Seeing it first hand is the way to go. I say fiber images, tho.

 

my fiber images hood fits really well. I highly recommend them.

 

I have a VIS hood and there's a few spots on the clear coat and one noticeable one on the front. The front corner has a part that sticks up and isn't completely flush with the corner fender. They're too heavy for carbon fiber. I guess some of the hoods are good quality, but the people there are ******** to deal with. I've hear fiberimages far surpasses VIS in quality

 

VIS hoods are nice but fiberimages makes some high quality hoods too, just don't skimp on your hood and you'll be good

 

fiberimages, imo i think there strong as hell. my cousin has one n he sits on top of his hood all teh time. and u hear it crackk, but its still good. its already been 2-3 years. still looks new.

 

DG Motorsports....clean as hell and no hood pins needed. excellent fit and finish on both the top and underside.

VIS is the best bang for the buck. its great quality and fits good and has an appealing price. although if i had lots of money, id buy a hammerhead avation hood sold by tornactive.com on this board. those hoods look so choice it makes me wanna cream my pants

 

fiber images has the ace in the hole! strong, fits perfect...no bullshit skeleton on the bottom side of the hood
