Default STD door weight? can I change doors?

The built in seatbelts into the door must make the door be extrememly heavy, now can I swap over to an si door?
what do you guys do to lightened up those doors!

(going to be for mostly track/A/x but still be rigged to be street legal

the door itself looks heavily reinforced. It is a load bearing member since it must support the seatbelts

The doors can't be swapped as a whole but you could move the belts to the pillars and remove the crap from the doors. It still won't save you all that much weight. Structually the car is much stiffer than the 88's. The 89-91 had more reinforcments and bracing in the quarters, doors, and door frame. Not really worth it imo.
