Small battery relocation on CRX.
My mechanic made the custom battery tray and it bolts to two holes in that area that are plugged up used as wire holders, just pluck them out and it'll take 10mm bolts. The small motorcycle battery works fine no problems. Hella light. If your interested in battery bracket hit up nosh2289crx@aol.com. Lates.

looks good i had a riding lawnmower batt on my old car ( a bit bigger then a motorcycle one) it was sweet for daily driving etc. but sucked serious *** if you had a stereo.
Im sticking qwith my stock sized one. maybe itll fit down there?
anyways killer install looks dope.

Actually it runs great. I have no battery drain problems. Got a Clifford alarm and it'll run all night and day. My stereo works fine. I could turn it on and a bunch of times. As long as you have an alternator that works the energy will be put back fine. But, if your running an amp, it may not be that efficient when your asking for a lot of power at once for beat. But for daily driving, you can't tell a difference in loss. I didn't get the camber plates, I don't care about my camber, hehe. The traction bar I do have though. WuHung -
well from what i can see in the pics its a 12v 18~19 amp hour sealed lead acid battery. retail on something like that is around $60. remember this is SEALED that means you could even put it in your trunk if you're up to running cables back there. and yes, i worked for batteries plus for 3 years.
i'll also add its considered a deep cycle batter so that means if you leave your lights on it will charge right back up again unlike some car batteries where if they're picky they'll never charge again after being fully discharged.
The tray is $99 and battery is $65. It's a Centennial battery. My bad, it's not a motorcycle battery, it's a special app. I don't have the dimensions but I'll try to get it and also try to put up more pics. Contact 916-852-6887, or nosh2289crx@aol.com if your interested or for information. Peace!
the dimensions should be 7.02 x 2.96 x 6.51 inches. it will weigh about 13 lbs. many companies make the same battery so as long as you get a 12v 18ah battery you'll be fine regardless of the maker. beware though, as i'm sure it wouldnt quite have enough power to start on a really cold day depending on where you live. hope this helps.
I already had it in the trunk before and I got shitted on at the race track, if you have the battery relocated there, they want and external on/off switch which is bs! So I had to put it back to the front and there's not much room with b-series swaps in the CRX. And as for wiring, you know how much 4 gauge costed to run to the back the first time around??? Like 8ft or whatever. When went small battery front I used less than 1 ft for power and a ground. Can't beat that.
