Bolt-in Autopower Roll Cage (94-2001 Integra) for sale in a few weeks.
All,
After this weekend's festivities at CMP, I'll have the Autopower bolt-in roll cage out of my Integra and available for sale. Price will be $300.
- It already has the tabs and such welded onto it for the window net.
- It resides in the car of the Honda Challenge Driver of the Year
- It could be converted to a roll bar with relative ease
- It comes with all the hardware
- It has never been bent and should bolt into any DC2 Integra with minimal difficulty
I figure roughly half what the new ones go for is fair, since they don't wear out, and I've gotten the window net thing sorted out for you in advance (at considerable expense).
Just giving everyone in RR/AX a heads up since I'd like it to go to a driver rather than a blinger.

how many points does it mount to?
I'm very interested in it.
I've started autoX....and would also like some extra protection for the 1320
I've wanted to add a harness to my car so that i can concentrate on driving and not holding onto the steering wheel....with a roll cage i wouldn't have to worry about submarining.....
let me know

It's ERW. A fine school cage or bar, but not a SCCA-ready cage (for 2003) I'm afraid. For those wondering, I'm selling it because I'm getting a custom one welded into the car this offseason.
It includes grade 8 hardware. And the best part is that you won't have to drill the holes for the cage sleeves - I've already done that.
Even if you use only the rear section, it gives you a safe way of doing harnesses. And the forward section can be used later on when you decide to do the full cage thing.

Dan, it's a 6 point cage. Mounts to the rear fender, the rear-seat-occupant floorpan, and the front floorpan right behind where your feet probably go. It's your basic 6 point bolt-in cage, with window net stuff already welded on (I'll throw in the net as part of the deal).

The "politically correct" answer is it's not safe. Ask Karl how many years he drove the car to work with the cage in...
Actually, if you were going to drive it around you could just install the rear part and leave the front out until later.

Dan -
Honestly, it's not good daily driver material. Doable? Yes. Safe? Not so much in the event of a frontal, or "front-left" - al, collision. It is close to your head on the left side without a helmet.
I'd suggest using only the rear portion of the thing in a daily driven car. That said, I drove around for 3 years with this thing. Favorite quote from a lady friend: "Remind me to not wear a skirt next time I ride in this car."

Why is this not SCCA legal? Would it be safe to assume that the bolt holes would line right up to the ones I currently have drilled for my AP 4pt. bar?
Fawk....
SCCA Solo I legal and great for track days in a dual use car.
Fits DC2 Integras.
