Try drilling a small hole on the bottom to let the water out. Also check the molding around the light. Try to find out what is causing the condensation.

I would try to get that one light off of ebay, junkyard, or friend. If you have a lot of time, just take out the whole taillight and pry away at the seal and melt them with a heat gun. Clean out the inside really good and seal them back up. Make sure there are no cracks or holes that might make the fog up again.

Sure, you got 200 for a NEW one? heh, I don't.
I work, pay for my car, and go to college, no money for a taillight, so its gotta be a DIY fix.

buy some cheap altezzas that come with the foam rubber seals, sell the altezzas at the local swap meet and use the seals that came withthe altezzas. the factory charges 70 dollars a piece for those foam rubber seals, tell me they are not tryin to rip people off. i had the same problem, didn't realize how bad it was till i opened my trunk because i heard an ocean of water sloshing around in my spare tire area. there was literally 5 gallons of water back there and i was pissed. but the foam rubber seals fixed it so good luck.

Yup. I had the same problem. All you have to do is drain all the water out. Use a blow dryer. It can take up to 20-30 min. so be patient. Then install the new gasket and you're good to go. Or you can do what I did: clean and flex the old gasket and reinstall. Mine has held up to this day since I did it 3 years ago.

You can get a used tailight for about $60-75, you just got to look around.
I bought a whole set for $115 shipped.

the glue or seal **** they use from the dealership rarely goes bad it is always the foam rubber gasket you can go to Michael's- a craft store - and find the same material you need, trace the design on there and cut it out for about 10 bux total. NOW THAT'S A BARGAIN!!!!!
