Actually Santa's not early but I like to think of it that way. I finally got my Sub, the last component before I could do the install all in one shot. I waited forever for that damn thing. Well, here's all my components ready to be installed tomorrow. Hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Actually I bought it piece by piece. Took me like 4 or 5 months to compile all those components. I'd say I spent about a grand on my system.

make sure you save your reciept for your perfect. I run two and have blow countless subs. the tinsel leads short on them quite frequently, but they sound tremendous!

oh yeah , one more thing: you'll have to trim your speaker basket to fit the tsa's in the doors, no big deal if you havve a jig saw though.

Thx for the advice incubus. I'll be sure to remember that stuff. I'm not a real big car audio buff. I was just looking to upgrade the sound system over stock. If you add it all up at MSRP I guess my system would be valued more than a G. Here's the MSRP breakdown/the price I paid including shipping:
Note: Obviously the MSRP dosen't include shipping.

Pioneer TS-A1667: $110/74
Pioneer TS-A6985: $140/93
Audiobahn Amp-kit: $80?/50
Panasonic CQ-DF801U: $450/220
JBL BP600.1: $400/150
Infinity Kappa Perfect: $330/185
Total: $1510/672
$672+180(install)$852

It definately does not cost you $36 for shipping so the second # cannot be the shipping price!

$180 for the install is a pretty good price if its at a retail store. But i know for sure that if it is a friend or friend of a friend, than its a rip off. My friend who works and a shop that did work on one of Big Pun's car's is installing his front speakers, and 2 amps for $75! Now thats a deal!

I'll keep you posted. Well I got everything installed except for the sub. In about 6 days I'll have the sub installed so I can let you know how's the performance of the sub and amp. As for the 6.5" speakers being good for midbass, they are descent. Although I'm now considering amping my front and rear. It's a night and day difference for clarity though, crystal clear. Bass is tight for the 6x9's but the front gets a little muddy when turned up too loud with the bass adjusted high, therefore I am considering getting bass blockers (150hz cutoff @ 4ohms), as in my orginal plan. I am extremely happy with it's performance over stock. I would definately recommend upgrading to coaxial aftermarket speakers over stock. To answer someone's question about the JBL amp...I did a lot of reasearch before deciding on it. I've heard nothing but good from this amp, even the fact that I hear they're underrated. But, like I said earlier I won't know till I get the last part of my install done. STAY TUNED.

YO willis what up well your setup is nice but you should look into some component speakers for your front sounds. guarantee it will sound alot better than those midrange threeway speakers.

My FAVORITE subwoofer! I had one a kappa perfect 12 in my Integra with a 300 watt amp, and it was ******* awesome (but slightly underpowered..)

Nice setup!

you need something more powerful than a jbl600 to power two hx2's. u need an amp that wil push out 1000 watts rms for em. like a rockford power bd1000.1
