Yes, most complete swaps online go for around $4500-$6000.

Good price, for some reason JDM motors are less expensive than USDM Type R motors. You want the extra bump in compression anyways so go for it, its a good buy. Who are you buying it from? http://www.hondamotorsonline ?

The B18C-R motor groupbuy is geared to be one of the lowest prices around. The guys at Osaka Motors have done extensive research and they just want to beat everyone else in the JDM motor market. The motors are located in a warehouse in Quebec, Canada. They have hundreds of motors and they get about 4 fifty-foot containers a month worth of motors. Osaka Motors has much much more than just Honda/Acura motors so if you need anything Nissan, Toyota, Subaru...etc, I would recommend these guys also.

Now that you know a little bit more about these two companies, let me explain what Redline Autosport is doing. We are screening new buyer requests for Osaka Motors and we hope to be one of their future USA distribution management centers. We will provide all answers to customer inquiries and once we believe a customer is ready to purchase, we will forward the order to them. We do not touch any of the money.

how come on the website ther ITR motor is going for 5g's? but on the groupbuy its going for $4200.

 

Because the deal is on groupbuycenter.com not their actual website. If you call them and ask to be a part of the groupbuy, I am sure they will sell you the motor for $4200 shipped.

Sorry not 4200 shipped I meant 4200 plus shipping. Either way that is one hell of a price. You can request which motor you want but I believe all years are pretty much the same, 200ps.

 

Newer the engine the newer the parts. Wish they would email me back.

 

Doesn't really matter about how new ask how many miles have been used on that motor. Of course newer is better but I don't think its gonna be a 2000 motor, maybe 97-98.

 

I picked up a 97 ITR motor from them yesterday, the place selling them is Osaka japanese auto parts in montreal. I drove up there and picked it up b/c i wanted to see everything for myself, the place is totally legit and the motors are all in good shape. I'll post a pic of my actual motor tomorrow if you want. They even swapped the tranny to a 2000 CTR a little extra cash. The place running the group buy is just a middle man, i e-mailed redline and a rep from osaka e-mailed me an hour later. $4200 + shipping is not the lowest price today.

I can get you a full JDM swap (still in the car and runs) for $4100. The catch
is you have to buy the whole front clip and that includes a JDM ITR front end
and sells for $6000 (so basically you buy a JDM ITR front end for only $1900)
You have to be in San Francisco Bay Area, I will bring you to the warehouse
if you're serious.
