Default Lexan glass for rear hatch?

Who has done this? What is involved in the installation?

1. Illegal on the street
2. Requires drilling of clamps into the hatch frame to hold in place in most cases (edit: so you can replace it easily once you can't see through it)
3. Lexan scratches <u>very</u> easily
4. Requires a support in the middle (cuz it will flap in the wind like a ****) - just like a front lexan window
5. Expensive (if you want it to look nice - )

ep and sean both have the FAL rear window. Sean advised me not to get it for a daily driven car.

Well...I don't have it, but a couple of friends do...it scratches fairly easy, doesn't have the best of fitment, and isn't a whole lot of weight loss.

Not much weight loss huh. Not worth it to me then...might as well go back to a c/f hood.
