Default Dyno from this weekend (Stock + JDM ITR Header + Carsound)

This is with the JDM 4-1 header and a 2.5 carsound cat w/26k miles. Nothing else has been done to the car The second run was a little higher due to letting the car cool down more. We were not able to get the cams in due to ups sucking the lamas ***

Bone stock run at 10k miles for reference

Big thanks to John for hosting it and Dave for getting it all together. You guys rock The day went well, we had a lot of people dynoing. Not sure of all who ran and what numbers were put down... I could barly stand thanks to the 100 degress inside and out side of the shop

Craig - Who is supprised nobody got heat stroke

Damn, those are pretty good results
I really want to sell my Comptech setup for a JDM 2.5" system. I only put down 172 with full Comptech intake/header/exhaust, v-afc tuning, and adj. fuel pressure. I'm dissappointed, I'm still running super rich too. Anyone wanna buy some Comptech parts???

I hope you guys notice the STD graph vs the SAE one. The STD is about 5 hp more then SAE. In retrospect he is only making about 3 whp with the JDM 4-1 and high flow cat. I only made 168-169 whp with the JDM 4-1 w/cat with everything else stock.

I would be willing to trade your Comptech 4-2-1 header for my JDM 4-1 (jet-hotted). I need ground clearance... I am dropping the car in a few months.

Uhhh. correction factors vary. Tweety-R had them change his to corrected, so Craig's would have change by about the same (don't recall what his changed by). Based on the humidity and 95-100 degree temps at the dyno at near sea level the correction factor should be very very close to.. well 1.00

Is everything bolt on together or have to chop shop fit this header with the Cats?
What are all the require parts for a perfect oem fit?

Interesting, I put down 169hp with the same setup, plus VAFC, CAI and adjustable cam gear (not tuned). I got 163, then noticed it was lean at the top adjusted the VAFC and went up tp 169. I shouldmention 53K miles and fresh oil, although my cat was bad the next week, maybe that could have done something? (shrug shoulders).

14 is optimum. above is lean and below is rich.

from ~7500 (or so) up to redline the header/cat helps a LOT!

I will post my plot tomorrow.

(173.4/120.9)

2.5 inch cat on stock 2.25 exhaust? how does that work, does it just bolt together? would it make a difference to get a 2.25 cat? im guessing it would be about the same since the exhaust is 2.25....i wanna do that stuff for next year also, AEM CAI, DC JDM 4-1, Carsound cat 2.25 or 2.5....
