I found what seems to be a nice set of Spec-RM coilovers. They are made in Japan and look to be similar to Apex-i WS coilovers. Does anyone have experience with these as far as the quality of the ride, reliability, etc.? I know that just because it's a JDM product doesn't make it good, but I can get them for about $500 new which seems like a good deal. I just don't want to be the guinea pig and be the first to test them out.

 

sorry, i dont' have an answer to your question, but doesn't the place/guy your buying them from have a little info on them? i'd like to find some info on these too.

 

nah, the spec rm is not made in japan(japanese company but factory is in taiwan), its in taiwan. however, they are not bad.
