Default I need some exhaust advice!! Please read

I've done my research and so far I'm torn between 4 systems:

1) Apexi WS for $383 not shipped - its quiet so thats good, but is it too restictive?
2)Apexi N1 for $469 shipped - great price, but I heard its loud as hell and fart sounding - does the silencer help much?
3) Thermal classic for $479 not shipped - deep but not raspy, so far my favorite except for the price
4)tenabe super hyper for 485 shipped - no idea how it sound or how restrictive it is.

Just so I'm sure, these are all 60mm systems right? If you guys can suggest anything or refer any better prices, please do.

PS - . I plan an getting a 2 1/4 cat in the future, will all of these be able to fit to both a stock cat and a 2 1/4"?

Thanks in advance

out of your choices i would recommend the Tanabe hyper, or thermal.
I'm running Tanabe Racing Spec and i think it sounds awesome imo. Hyper can't be that bad

The Apexi N1 is definitely not fart sounding. It may be loud but it sounds very deep. Here's a link to a video of an N1 on a lude: http://www.dvmotorsports.com/endless...s/n1_clips.WMV

I have a guestion about the Tenabe. Judging by the muffler design, the Super racing is N1 style and therefore louder than the super hyper, right?

Check with Thermal to verify but I'd bet it's a 2-1/4" system since it's built here.

I was wondering the same thing about the Apexi World Sport. Is it restrictive or not.
Anyways I do more research in to the Apexi WS and that would probably be my first choice. The one thing that might draw me about from the N1 is the size of the muffler, I'm unsure about how big it is, but if the N1 didn't look ugle I'd ge the N1 and second choice.

Don't forget you can take out a second mortgage on our house and get the Mugen. I've got it.

From what I read, the WS is Apexi's take on what the exhaust should have been from the factory. This makes me think that its too restrictive, but then again, its quiet.

I agree except that u don't have to worry about snow/salt/rust unlike us poor souls in the Northeast!

I vouch for the Tanabe S-Hyper Medallion. Not too loud and full SS piping!!!

Thermal is nice and full SS also. However, I've heard many complaints from users that its quite loud and drones on the highway.

My $0.02

Hmm, well I have it narrowed betwen the Apexi N1 and Tenabe s-hyper. I know the N1 is straight through, so its better for performance, but Tenabe is probably quieter - right? Is there anybody here that actually has either of the two on a 5th gen?

I have the N1 on a 97 SH. The piping is...think its called HPC coated to reduce heat and rust, all the way until the muffler. The muffler comes out at an angle, but out of all the listed exhausts, I think the N1 has the best looking muffler. It gives the most gains top end though, not much in midrange. As far as sound I think it sounds damn good, its very deep and similar the the Greddy PE. If you think its too loud, like for road trips the silencer makes a huge difference, it is just as quiet as stock if not quieter. Its easy to put in too, just one bolt. The N1 also makes more power than the Hyper Medallion, the Tanabe exhaust comparable to it is the Racing Medallion I think.

Go wit the apex'i
you won't be dissapointed
