Someone plz help, p30 or p54 a/c bracket mount for b16 in 95 civic
Ok, ive done my searching and reading. only to be left confused. im running a b16 in my 95 civic. used p72 mounts and my ac compressor only mounted with 2 bolts. now the bolts are broken and need a replacement. i want my stock compressor to be fully mounted, so which mount do i use? some say the p30, other say the p54. some say the p30 is from the 94-95 del sol, other say no, the p54 is from the 94-95 del sol. please. someone make this clear. with the results from my search, i became confused by only reading these two threads...

If i recall correctly, its the p30 from the 94+ del sols dohc vtec. someone correct me if im wrong.
I say it's the P54 and that's because the P54 is what I'm using. You can make it real simple, everyone agrees it's the del sol vtec ac bracket, right? So just call up A&H or go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and order an AC bracket for a 95 del sol vtec. Let them worry about the part number.
well i found the p54 at a local junk yard and picked it up along with the compressor bolts. 50 bones out my wallet. not bad considering that new is $100+. oh and one more question, when removing the ac mount/bracket, is it neccessary to somehow hold the engine up? or can i just unbolt and swap w/o any worries. tia.
When I do these swaps I order the part from the dealer and i tell them it's for a 94-delsol dohc vtec and when I get them the part # is a P54. i know this one works cause it bolts up perfectly and all the bolts mount on. good luck.

I paid over $140+ at the dealership, being it was the middle of the summer time in TX, I wanted my damn A/C asap.
