Default How hard is it to install the Ingalls Front Camber Kit?

I want to do this and then get an Alignment the next day but I am tired of surprises. How hard is it to do this? I can unbolt the UCA and then does it just pull down with ease or are there more things, I don't have to take apart the balljoint or anything do I?

thats basically it... but one problem i ran itno with mine is that i had to cut out some of the metal under the fender so the uca would be able to go to its normal position when the car is on the ground.... do a search i posted about it..

Well yeah I know about that if you try to adjust it beyond 2* or something, but I'm just going to adjust it as best I can and not even try to cut anything out.

I had the same problem on my wifes 90 CRX, I took a mallet and pliers and bent the lip outward. That's the only set back when installing them.

Yeah same here I put them on and had to cut out the top of the body rail, then we re-welded it, and sealed so rust doesn't creep up on the unibody.

Ditto. It took me about 45 mins total to put both sides on, it could have been quicker if i had a lift.

there is not many places round b-more that can give a lowered car an alignment 4gh, lowered cars can't fit up on most racks. some places will get them up on the rack by sticking 2x4' s under the wheels though. the only place I know that has a rack that sits low enough is belair Mr.tire. that's where i m getting mine done this week. All i had to do was undo the UCA and put some downward force on it then slide the arm around to the outside of the fender.

I had to cut a whole up into the engine compartment so My control arm could swing up. It was a big pain. Would never buy a camber kit like this again.
