Who has the quickest 1/4 time for an all motor RSX?

 

all motor base = 15.521 on stock bald tires

 

final zero's had got a 15.00 flat in his N/a Type S

 

All-motor implies motor work, most people will only have i/e, some may have h/pullies, but no internal work has been done. I just recently ran a 15.1 with i/e/minor suspension/tires and a 2.4 ( )60. Some people on clubrsx have been hitting mid 14s with bolt-ons, susp., tires, etc. But no internals just yet. Hondata just posted on clubrsx stating they will release their product line up for the rsx on oct. 11th.

 

Do you get alot of wheel hop when launching?

 

You betcha. I'm running 225/45/17 Bridgestone Poleposition S-03's. I know I'd run better with 16" drag radials, but this is my daily driver, not my "race car". I'm in it for the fun of it, not the competitiveness. I'm still experimenting with tire pressure and launching techniques, so we'll see how it goes.

Fastest time I know of is a 14.6 with AEM cold air.

And I know a guy who spent all his money on exterior/interior mods(and HiDszz yO) and NOTHING on performance....

Early this year at Great Lakes Dragaway I saw a Type S run a 14.7, stock, only thing he did was let some air out of the tires.

I'm no RSX owner or fanatic but I seen it with my own two eyes.

My little RSX only ran a 14.49 @ 96.8 mph at best. My last mod helped the best.

this kid i know here runs 14.7's and 14.8's all day with just his AEM CAI, and were like a mile above sea-level.

Elevation and weather does make a huge difference...
