Many people here prefer brembo blanks and swear by them. I used the AEM big rotor kit. Here's the post on them. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=284507

Here's how to put them on to save you the trouble of looking.

Depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend. A good cheap street set-up would be Brembo oe rotors, Aem pads, and some ATE superblue brake fluid.

I just bought all this for $130 to do my front brakes.

I here the AEM kit sucks cause they warp easily / come warped out of the box.

V6 Brake conversion is not only cost effective, but also works much better.

The blanks are similar to Honda oem and to be honest a slotted/drilled rotor is more for show than stopping. If you want them for show that's cool, but don't think they are worth double the price of some brembo blanks. They will also wear pads quicker and can crack easier.

If you insist on a slotted set-up I would go with Raceconcepts.net rotors which are slotted and dimpled drilled. They are at grouobuycenter.com for a fair price.

just get some blanks, brembo, napa, pep boys. Get some good pads(do a search). And flush the entire brake system with fresh fluid.

has anyone use the project µ rotors? the jun civics used them and i've heard they are good. I believe the blanks are really good but slotted are better, and if you don't think like me go and see some pics of racing cars (not the ones with carbon rotors, DUH!)

PS: it took me like an hour to find the µ thing so let's call them project rotors, hehe

a drag car doesnt rely that much on brakes as a car that sees the road circuit, so basically tizzite or not, it doesnt matter. If yo dont beleive me go in to the road race forum and ask about x-drilles and see how many peopele who race pretty much every weekend laugh at you

Brake rotors on real race cars that your talking about cost an arm and a leg and are much bigger than stock. They were also made to be crossdrilled and slotted from the time they were designed. You are talking about cheap stock sized crossdrilled/slotted rotors which will do nothing but look cool, eat your pads, crack easier, and cost double the price.

Many autocrossers that don't go for huge rotors cause they rather keep a 15-16 inch rim go for blank rotors, really good pads, ss lines, and brake fluid.

Do a search cause these topics have been beaten to death.

SOHCArchangel: First of all i wasn't talking of X-drilled, i was talking on sloted, i know about x-drilled. "a drag car doesnt rely that much on brakes as a car that sees the road circuit" besides the jun civic are 2 cars one prepared for drag racing and the other for solo racing. I was talking about the solo racing car which have the project rotors which are slotted. i found a good deal on this rotors for me and i just wanted to know if somebody used them, i'm not into looks.

KGAccord: i'm going for the 11" rotors found on the accord V6, which should work excelent with project discs. and yes, i'm aware that they would "eat" the brake pads.

I already posted this earlier in the thread.

KGAccord: Did you hear the AEMs suck from 1 or more people that have owned them ? I have no warps or cracks and mine work great. I don't autoX but I have made several 100+ mph to 0 stops and I'm very hard on the brakes.

I heard it from someone who works at a shop who sells and installs them. He had installed a few sets and they all came warped out of the box.

I have also heard similar stories from a few other people.

I have no first hand experience, but from research a Honda driven on the street doesn't seem to need to brakes like that anyway.

I still stand by keeping it simple... use the 11" Brembo blanks, and you'll be very happy.

Question...where do you buy the blanks? I've been all over google and can't find the blanks, not even from Brembo themselves... If you do a search for the blanks, you usually come up w/ some people saying "we made these x-drilled rotors from brembo blanks"....

You can order them from Summit Racing or at http://www.groupbuycenter.com. You can sometimes ask those vendors to sell you the blank rotors. Many of them cross-drill (or dimple drill) and slot in their machine shop or a partnered shop.
