Replacing the ECU
I have been having all kinds of troubles. First the car died on me the other night as you may have read. So I checked the engine codes and went through the steps in the manual. Everything seems to be fine. I checked the timing belt, it was okay. The car won't start like it isn't getting fuel or air or a spark. But when I checked the spark it seems fine. So everything is starting to point towards the computer. Now when I looked these are not cheap. Is there any way I can have the computer tested to make sure that is the problem before a drop this kind of money into a part that might not be what the problem is? Does anyone else have any ideas what it could be? I have checked the fuel (didn't have a presure gage but there is pressure) the intake is not blocked. I have checked all the vacume hoses and everything seems fine. The only other thing that I could think of was the main relay. I am too damn tired at this point after working on the thing for 5 hrs and working since 7AM. How do you remove the main relay. I found it but didn't have the energy to try to figure out how it came down. If anyone can help me any I would appreciate it. I am at a loss. I want my lude back!! So if you know if you can test the comp please let me know. Thank you in advance!!

Re: Replacing the ECU (Accord94DX)
Do you know if that ECU would work on mine? It's a 92 Si4WS It has the 2.3l and is 5spd. But I think I need an ECU from a 4WS lude. Also I don't know anyone else with a 4WS lude. If it is interchangable with the Si non4WS model I could try it on someone's car. I wish I knew more about the ECU. Does anyone know any good pages to read about it?
